Let's taco-bout how great Pumpkin Center is! Great job on the can food drive last week. In celebration of our over 700 cans wave good morning to Mrs.Burgin who is on the front sign as a taco!

If your child has lost something at school we have found it! We have moved our lost and found to the hallways to make it easier for students to look. Please remind your kids to check the lost and found tomorrow!

Progress Reports went home today!!

Thanks to your generosity, we surpassed our goal for the canned food drive and will be sending over 700 cans to help stock our local food pantry! 4th grade was our winner and will get an extra recess when we return from Thanksgiving break. A huge and special thanks to Lake Forest Church, our Kids Hope sponsor, for the work they did today on our campus during their "Love People" community event as well as to Lowe's for donating the supplies needed. When you come to our school tomorrow you will see on the Intermediate side that our curb has been repainted, our PTO purchased picnic table has been put together, and a drumroll for the biggest project... the steps going to the outdoor classroom have been replaced! The Primary side had many projects completed as well. We can't wait to have students using our outdoor classroom again now that they can safely get down to it. We have a short week with Thanksgiving break beginning on Wednesday. Our heat is on in the building so I would recommend for all students and staff to dress in layers while it's still a little warm outside too! I hope you have had a great weekend and I will see our students bright and early in the morning and wave hello to me from the sign on King Wilkinson Road Tuesday morning during morning drop off.
As of today- we have 367 cans collected. Our goal is 500, please help us get there! We will update tomorrow afternoon at lunch to let you know if we make it and if Mrs. Burgin will be on the sign as a taco Tuesday morning!

Day 1 of the can food drive update. Remember the winning grade level gets extra recess! The can food drive runs until this Friday, November 21. Let's bring in those cans!
