#WeAreLINCOLN #TransitionToMiddle

The timeline is as follows:
February: Middle School Visits to Elementary. Middle school counselors and staff will visit feeder elementary schools to address student questions about middle school and share site-specific opportunities. Parents will receive information about elective options.
March: Elementary Visits to Middle School. Elementary students will tour their feeder middle schools and observe Elective classes. They will also select their top preferred electives, though options are not guaranteed and may change due to availability. All students will be scheduled in ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, PE/Health, and 1 or 2 electives.
April/May: Parent & Guardian Visits Middle School.
May: Look for registration information via email, NLMS website, or social media for the August Rising 6th Grade JumpStart event.
Mid-June: Students will receive advanced class eligibility letters via mail.
August: Schedules & Teachers Online. Students and families can view their schedules and teachers in Infinite Campus mid-August. However, schedules, teachers, and teams won't be final until Open House, and any information seen before then is subject to change as schools finalize class assignments.
