🎉 What an incredible First Quarter Synergy Celebration at PCI! We had a blast coming together to celebrate our amazing students and vibrant school community. From recognizing students living the 7 Habits and honoring all of our quarter shout-outs to highlighting one of our talented Jump Rope Club stars, there was so much success to cheer for! We were also inspired by an empowering message from Miss North Lincoln about the beauty in all of us, and to top it all off, a huge thank you to the North Lincoln High School cheerleaders for stopping by to bring the high energy and pump up our Cougars for Quarter 2! 🐾💙

Our students had an absolute blast during last Friday’s Club Day! From making colorful creations in Perler Club and drawing step-by-step in Direct Drawing, to coding projects, diving into great reads in Book Club, sharing big smiles during Unified Champions with our EC class, and lots more! There was something for everyone. We love seeing our students explore new passions, learn together, and build lasting friendships!

📢 Attendance Update for Parents

The state of North Carolina has released new attendance codes that our school will be using moving forward.

Please note: If your student is checked out early from school after 11:30AM, the early checkout will be coded as a 2P – Unexcused Early Checkout unless a doctor’s note is provided. If you provide a note, then it will be coded as 1P - Excused Early Checkout.

Please keep this in mind when making plans for early dismissal. A doctor’s note must be provided for the early checkout to be excused.

Today, we are shining a bright spotlight on our incredible custodial team! While National Custodian Day was officially on Friday, our calendar was packed with the 5th-grade Volume Zoo and our celebration for Beginning Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Russell. But we couldn't let the occasion pass without giving our custodians the dedicated recognition they deserve. Thank you, Mr. Rex, Ms. Sydney, and Ms. Jennifer, for everything you do behind the scenes to keep our school clean, safe, and welcoming every single day!
