To celebrate September’s Attendance Awareness Month, Mrs. Burgin and Mrs. Webb rewarded students who were present at school when their class number was called with a Free Lunch with a Friend Pass!

North Lincoln will host West Iredell on Friday, September 11th, for their annual Youth Night Game! Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM.
Military Night: Free admission with valid military credentials.
Youth Knight Details: K–8th grade students from Rock Springs, Pumpkin Center, St. James, and North Lincoln Middle receive free admission with a paying adult. Students are encouraged to wear their school shirts.

M&M Club papers went home in Tuesday Folders! This club works on math and reading skill every Wednesday at 7 am. If you would like to join please send the paper back as soon as possible!

5th grade has been using different examples to explain the conservation of mass! They used Oreos, glow sticks, vinegar with baking soda, and clay. Science thrives through hands on experimenting, way to go 5th graders!






What an amazing second full week of school! This week we are highlighting our music classes. They have been working on their singing techniques with fun songs that use hand games, drum sticks, and tennis balls. Thank you Mrs. Hamlin for fun activities to grow our singing!

We have finished our first full week of school! Our classes have been learning all about Leader in Me and the 7 habits. Our 4th grade classes were working together to build the tallest tower out of spaghetti noodles and marshmallows. So proud of them embracing habit 6 to synergize with each other! We are excited to continue learning together this year!







Making good choices and being kind to others are not just rules here at Pumpkin Center Intermediate- it is simply who we are! We cannot wait to keep spreading positivity this school year!

Today was a great start to the year with our opening staff meeting followed by a wonderful lunch from our PTO. We are so thankful for their support! Pumpkin Center Community we cannot wait to glow with you this year!

Mark your calendars for School Beautification Day on July 24th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All are welcome to join us as we prep PCPS and PCIS for the new school year. Bring the whole family out for a community cleanup event. Bottled water and freeze pops will be provided to keep everyone refreshed!
