Today, our sixth graders participated in an engaging presentation on soil and water conservation presented by local Lincoln County experts.
Students learned that soil is the primary polluter of bodies of water in North Carolina and discussed practical strategies for protecting our soil.
This presentation helps prepare our students as they get ready to participate in the annual essay contest centered on this year's theme, "Soil and Water... Yours for Life."
