🔹 6th Grade: Students are diving into an informational text all about turkeys—discovering surprising facts and learning why wild turkeys are so important.
🔹 7th Grade: Some classes are deep into The Hunger Games, evaluating characters and big themes, while others are getting into the holiday spirit with A Christmas Carol.
🔹 8th Grade: Students are exploring how Edgar Allan Poe builds suspense in The Tell-Tale Heart, and others are sharpening their argumentative writing skills.
🔹 Mrs. White’s Class: Students are rotating through stations to analyze characters, themes, and the author’s use of allusion in Priscilla and the Wimps—digging for deeper meaning.
🔹 Ms. Olach’s Class: Students are practicing key reading strategies to analyze fictional texts.
So much reading, thinking, and exploring happening across our ELA classrooms this week!

They’re diving into kickball skills, game strategy, teamwork, and even some fancy footwork.
In health class, students are rotating through learning stations focused on the importance of mental health — building knowledge that matters on and off the field.
And in fitness, it’s all about the hustle with circuit training!
We are proud of our students for staying active, learning, and giving their best in every class!
We had a great morning at All Pro Dad, where fathers and father-figures came together to invest in what matters most—our kids!

6th Grade: Tackling ratio challenges using equivalent and unit ratios.
7th Grade: Mastering order of operations and exploring percent of change.
8th Grade: Studying angles and diving into systems of equations.
Math minds at work — every problem solved is one step closer to success!

Here’s a look at the amazing things happening at Lincolnton Middle:
In band, eighth grade students are gearing up for 8th Grade Band Night with the Lincolnton High School Wolfpack Band.
Sixth and seventh graders are mastering new notes and sharpening their playing skills.
Chorus is busy preparing for the Christmas concert AND the Gardner-Webb Choral Clinic.
Art students are adding the finishing touches to their creative collage projects.
We’re so proud of our Wildcats and all their hard work this week!
