Mrs. Jacobs' students became "mini Mendeleevs" as they worked in groups to arrange puzzle pieces by identifying patterns in shapes, colors, and numbers.

They used their observations to organize the pieces into rows and columns, just like Mendeleev used patterns to organize the elements.

Today, we remember those who lost their lives, their families, and the first responders who demonstrated exceptional bravery by facing danger head-on.
