Yesterday Mrs. Hoffman made the rounds to classrooms, to be a surprise guest reader. Students got to hear the book "What Would Happen if Everyone Did That", while being encouraged to think critically about how seemingly small actions can have a big effect on the world around us.

A note from Mrs. Grant: To celebrate Read Across America Week I served up some of my favorite books for a book tasting. Students sampled different books from various genres to discover new favorites and books they would like to read.

4th and 5th grade classes participated in a career fair yesterday. Career representatives included Information Technology, SECU, Law Enforcement, and Health Care (Nurses)

A note from Mr. Bess: Students in my class are learning about heredity. They are sorting pigeon offspring into groups under their parents based on inherited traits.
