Mr. Rob says the best part of being a bus driver is joking around with the kids. He loves sharing laughs and keeping the ride fun. His sense of humor helps create a positive and welcoming atmosphere on his bus.

Today we are celebrating the amazing Ms. Wendy, our dedicated EC bus driver! With 10 years of driving experience and 6 wonderful years at Love she has truly made a lasting impact on our school family. 🚌 💛

Ms. Wendy drives our EC bus with patience, kindness, and a whole lot of heart. Her favorite part of the job? Hearing a child say, “You’re so good at driving our bus! I hope you drive my bus next year!” Those sweet words mean everything to her. And when parents show appreciation just like the students do, it makes her feel extra special and valued.

She truly loves her students and takes pride in making sure they feel safe and cared for every day.

Ms. Michelle says her favorite part of being a bus driver is simply getting to love on the kids. And it shows! She greets her students with warmth, kindness, and a heart that truly cares.

Earlier this week, our 5th grade students had an amazing opportunity to attend West Lincoln High School and preview different band instruments! They learned about different instrument families, explored how each one sounds, and even had the chance to try a few out.

We are so thankful to the WLHS and WLMS staff and band students for welcoming us and sharing their talents!

Ms. Ashley has been driving a bus for 5 years, with 4 of those years serving families at Love Memorial. Her dedication and consistency mean so much to our school community.

She says the very best part about being a bus driver is seeing all the smiling faces and having great conversations with the kids. Those daily chats and warm greetings make a bigger difference than she probably even realizes!

For 10 years, Mrs. McDaniel has safely transported students, with 2 of those years serving families at Love Memorial. That’s a whole decade of early mornings, careful routes, and countless smiles in the rearview mirror!

She says the very best part of driving a bus is getting to know the kids from all grade levels. From the littlest riders to the big kids, she builds relationships that make every student feel seen, known, and cared for. That kind of connection makes a lasting impact.

Let’s give a BIG shoutout to our amazing bus driver, Mrs. Wagner! 🚌💛 For the past 2 years, Mrs. Wagner has been safely getting our kids to and from school with a smile. She says the very best part of being a bus driver is making meaningful connections with the kids on her bus, being a positive role model, and providing a community service that ensures safety and stability for families. She understands that this job is a huge responsibility and it’s one she does not take lightly. We are so grateful for her dedication and heart!

Help us celebrate one of our incredible bus drivers — Ms. Carrie! 🚌💛 For the past 3 years, Ms. Carrie has been a friendly face our students can count on each morning and afternoon. Her favorite part of driving a bus is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the children. She loves making each bus ride fun and always makes sure her students know she cares about every single one of them.

The best part about being a bus driver for her is the feeling of independence and the important role she plays in getting children where they need to be each day. That’s such a special responsibility, and she carries it with care!
