This November, ELHS celebrated the power of Career & Technical Education (CTE)—where hands-on learning meets real-world opportunity. Check out the activities in classes and the Career Technical Student Organizations (FFA, DECA, HOSA, and FCCLA)! Also a special thanks to our neighbors from Trilogy for coming to give quick career chats to spark our students interest!






What an incredible season by our men's soccer team. Finish 5A state runner ups falling to defending champ Western Alamance 1-0. Thank you to Dr. Allen for the great pics, thanks to all of the community members and parents that gave the boys a great sendoff Saturday morning, and thank you to all that made the trip to Guilford to support the boys. For only the 2nd time in school history your Mustang boys soccer team will play for the state championship. Game time is set for 11 AM at Guilford College. Your 5A Western Regional Champion Mustang soccer team will head to Guilford College on Saturday to take on Western Alamance for the 5A NCHSAA soccer STATE CHAMPIONSHIP! ELHS Mustangs (12th grader & a few 11th graders) participated in a budgeting simulation on Monday, November 17, 2025 to practice making decisions about spending and saving when it comes to their futures. Students were given a scenario career, income, and some even had children they had to plan their month’s budget around!
Thanks to the many SECU bank volunteers, National Guard rep, LCS Board of Education members, lots of Lincoln County Schools staff and Superintendent, and all of the parent and Trilogy residents who took the time to make this event successful! Also a special shout out to the PTSO for the yummy iced coffee bar and cookies for the students to help motivate them!

We are wrapping up the fall AOW with 2 outstanding young ladies that helped lead their respective programs to their best seasons in school history. Our week 12 fall sports NC Farm Bureau athletes of the week are Karsyn Sink who will graduate here as one of the most decorated girls tennis players in school history and Maddie Reynolds who was all conference and helped lead the charge in the conference/regional championship as well as a 5A state runner up where she shot a hole in one.
