The 5A Western Regional soccer championship is here Tuesday, 11/18 at 6:00. Your Mustangs will host Enka. This is only the 2nd time in school history to host a soccer regional final and we hope you will be here to cheer our boys on.

It is NC state playoff time and your Mustangs will host a very good West Henderson team in the 2nd round tonight. Kickoff is set for 7:30, gates open at 6:00.

We are wrapping up the fall AOW with 2 outstanding young ladies that helped lead their respective programs to their best seasons in school history. Our week 12 fall sports NC Farm Bureau athletes of the week are Karsyn Sink who will graduate here as one of the most decorated girls tennis players in school history and Maddie Reynolds who was all conference and helped lead the charge in the conference/regional championship as well as a 5A state runner up where she shot a hole in one. Your 2025 Dual Team Tennis STATE CHAMPIONS. What a year ladies. These young ladies started Aug 1st in the heat and finished yesterday battling the wind, cold and rain at the end of the season but no matter the conditions continued to dominate match after match. Almost all being recognized for individual awards but the most important coming together as a team to win the ultimate prize in high school sports!! Thank you Coach Mackel and ladies for a great season and CONGRATULATIONS!! Let's get them rings sized up and ordered!! GO MUSTANGS

The Lady Mustang Tennis team has departed to the Burlington Tennis Center to take on the Durham School of Arts in the 2025 NCHSAA Dual Team Tennis State Championship. Match starts at 12:30. Big CONGRATULATIONS to Coach Mackel and our Lady Mustang tennis team as they have captured the 2025 5A Western Regional Championship. They will head to Burlington tomorrow and compete for the 5A team dual State Championship starting at 12:30. Families and community members let's give these young ladies a proper send off. What a year for our 2025 Lady Mustang Golf Team. This past Monday and Tuesday they battled wind, cold and rain and still competed at a high level to finish as the 5A State Runner ups. This season they won the WFAC Championship and 5A Western Regional Championship. All 5 members were named to the All Conference team. Thank you Coach Hancock, Maddie, Kennedy, Cassidy, Riley and Megan for this memorable season. GO MUSTANGS!!
