It is a busy week at West Lincoln High School! From March 16th to 20th, we have a full schedule of athletic events and important milestones for our seniors. Seniors, please remember to send your 1st-grade or kindergarten photos to Mrs. Allen and check your email to vote for teacher superlatives. We are also pushing toward our goal of reaching a B school grade—remember that every day and every "no tardy" counts toward our collective success. Come out and support our Rebels in tennis, baseball, softball, soccer, and track throughout the week.

Mark your calendars for the 5th Annual Miss WLHS Scholarship Pageant on Saturday, March 21st! The event takes place in the Butch Ross Gym at West Lincoln High School. Doors open at 6:30 PM with the pageant starting at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Come out and show your support for these outstanding students!

Ms. Nutt's 11th-grade American Lit classes are studying Transcendentalism, reading Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, among others. Core beliefs are solace and wisdom in nature, celebrating individualism, and learning to question instead of taking answers at face value. We got out in nature to remember child-like wonder and work in our Nature Journal.

Today, we had the honor of welcoming Hallie Black, last year’s Valedictorian, to speak with West Lincoln students about her journey from a rural community to studying at Yale University, where she is currently a freshman. Hallie shared valuable insights about the college admissions and application process, financial aid opportunities, and life on a college campus. She also answered students’ questions about preparing for the SAT and ACT, the benefits of AP and CCP courses, and how to stand out when writing college essays. Thank you, Hallie, for returning to West Lincoln and for such an inspiring and informative talk!

A heartfelt thank you to Hebron Church for providing treat bags and bottled water for our team today. We are so grateful for their support. Thank you, Hebron Church, for your kindness!
