Tonight was a big night at the school board meeting! 🎉 Our Battle of the Books team was recognized for earning 1st place, and we could not be more proud of their hard work and dedication! 📚🏆 We also want to congratulate Mrs. Dellinger and Mrs. Carol Morrison for being recognized as Lincoln County Principal of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. Union is so lucky to have such amazing leaders and supporters making a difference for our students every day. 💙 To top it all off, Union was recognized for once again being a Purple Star recipient! ⭐️🇺🇸 It was a wonderful evening celebrating the incredible accomplishments of our students, staff, volunteers, and school community

Today during our Leader in Me time, students were “Beginning with the End in Mind” as they shared kindness through our Owl Buddies project! 🦉💙 Students painted kindness rocks to spread encouragement, positivity, and friendship throughout our school community. We wrapped up an amazing Teacher Appreciation Week today, and we just want our teachers to know how truly thankful we are for each and every one of them. Mrs. Helms class had a special day. 🦋 After weeks of careful observation , learning all about the life cycle, and watching our tiny caterpillars transform into chrysalises, it was finally time to say goodbye to their beautiful butterflies.

Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week was another sweet success at Union Elementary School! ☕🥤 Today our amazing teachers were treated to a delicious dirty soda & coffee bar from Sugar and Sass — and it was the perfect pick-me-up for a busy week!💛 We’d also like to congratulate Mrs. Hayes for winning the beautiful Mary Kay gift basket generously donated by Amy Crisson! 🎉🩷 Our teachers deserve all the love this week and more!

EOG BOOT CAMP ACTIVATED 🚨

Yesterday our 3rd–5th graders geared up for EOG season with an action-packed Boot Camp! 💪📚 Students reviewed important skills through fun games, team challenges, and review questions designed to keep their minds sharp and confidence high.

From laughter to learning, our students are working hard and getting ready to show what they know! We are so proud of their focus, determination, and positive attitudes as they prepare for the EOGs. 🎯✨
