Junior Class Families,
Here is the presentation from today's meeting about the ACT. Have a great weekend!

Huge congratulations to our Battle of the Books team for an incredible performance at the regional competition! Out of a field of fierce competitors, our students charged their way to 4th Place—the highest ranking in our school’s history!
To prepare, these dedicated readers tackled a list of 16 books, proving that hard work (and a lot of pages) truly pays off.
Not only are these students brilliant and dedicated, they're also some of the kindest and most fun students to be around. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments this year!

Thank you!

A couple of important announcements:
1.) This Friday the Junior class will be meeting in the auditorium to get prepared for the ACT being that is being given on Monday. We will start promptly at 11AM.
2.) Last week, homeroom teachers passed out information about setting up your ACT account and general information about what to expect on the ACT. If you were not in Knightvision last Friday, you will need to pick up your information from Ms. Schanke in the front office. Remember that you only have up to 2 days after the test to submit your scores to 2 universities/institutions of your choice for free, so it is essential that your ACT account is up and running before test day.
Let Mr. Volk know if you have any questions.

Congrats to AJ P., Gavin B., Morgan L., Anton C. Gabe S., Mason V., Yogessh K., Connor S., Jonathan K., and Derek P. who attended the competition.
Despite being a new club, the Nano Knights overcame technical hurdles to rack up massive points, earning them a spot in a final match alliance and charging all the way to the Quarter Finals!
🏆 The Big Win
We are beyond proud to announce that the team brought home the Rookie All-Star Award, recognizing their outstanding performance, team spirit, and potential to build a successful program.
Huge thanks to Mentors Olivia Harvel, an engineer from Corning, and parents AJ Priola and BJ Burton for their technical expertise. Also the entire Burton and Priola families for their tireless support
Our Sponsors: A massive thank you to Kale Construction Supply, Corning, and Honeywell for investing in these bright minds.
Next Stop: UNC-Pembroke for our second competition on March 27–29.
The Big Goal: The team has earned an interview at the State level for a chance to advance to Worlds!
Congratulations to the team for representing Lincoln County and FIRST Robotics so well. Let’s keep that momentum going! 🤖✨
