This week, East Lincoln students had the rare opportunity to hear from community members who lived through September 11, 2001. On Wednesday, our guests shared where they were that morning, what they saw and felt, and how that day shaped the years that followed. Students traced the timeline of the attacks, from 8:46 a.m. at the North Tower to 10:28 a.m. when it fell, then gathered around the newspapers, maps, and keepsakes our panelists brought, asking questions and listening to firsthand accounts. For our students, 9/11 is history they've only read about. On Wednesday, it became personal. Thank you to our panelists for your honesty, your time, and your willingness to help a new generation understand. Today, on the 25th anniversary, we remember the 2,977 lives lost and honor everyone who responded, served, and helped rebuild. #NeverForget #911Remembrance #MustangsInAction #LearnLeadThrive

Young Lincoln Leaders: Empowering Student Leaders to Make an Impact

The world needs proactive, visionary leaders—and our high school students are ready to step up! Young Lincoln Leaders (YLL) is an 8-month program designed to help students Be Proactive, grow as servant leaders, and gain a deeper understanding of their local community.

Meeting once a month for a hands-on "Leader Lab," students sharpen essential habits in vision, teamwork, communication, and innovation. To turn their learning into real-world action, student teams will plan and lead a couple of hands-on community impact projects throughout the year—putting synergy into practice to create a lasting, positive footprint across Lincoln County.

When? Monthly Meetings from 10:00AM to 1:00PM

Being in school adds up! Missing just
two days each month can put a student
at risk of falling behind academically.
Every day in the classroom is another opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.
Be here. Keep learning.
Keep moving forward.
