⚠ Iron Station Elementary ⚠ Remote Learning Day
Due to issues with heat in the building, Iron Station Elementary will operate on a Remote Learning Day today, January 13, 2025.

Due to icy roads, Lincoln County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, January 14. High school students will report to 2nd period.

Congratulations to Kelly Withrow, Principal at Battleground Elementary, for being named the 2025 Wells Fargo Southwest Principal of the Year!
Mrs. Withrow received the honor during a surprise assembly on Tuesday morning, where the announcement was met with cheers from students, staff, and school supporters.
She is one of nine principals across North Carolina to be honored this year. The surprise event was attended by representatives from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, as well as Lincoln County School Board Members and district leaders.
