This Friday night is North Lincoln's first football game and they will play West Lincoln. It is also “Youth Knight” and both Pumpkin Center and Rock Springs’ elementary kids will get into the football game free of charge. Parents and older children do have to pay the $7 game entry fee. There will be a family tailgate party behind the home side stadium seating with live music, Tex-A-Lina BBQ and Kona Ice from 4-7pm, and the game starts at 7:30pm. Students who would like to, can help make a tunnel for the players. Be down at the track at the end of the HOME side stands around 7:00. Staff will bring them back to meet parents after the team runs out on the field. This should be a fun night for our students!

Good Afternoon Eagles! We had a great first day at PCPS!! A few reminders for going forward: 1- Doors Open between 7:15 and 7:20 in the morning. Students walk to class at 7:30 from the cafeteria. 2- Kindergarten Staggered entry begins at 8:30 (we have two staggered days left- 8/15 and 8/16. Please come on your assigned day) 3- If your child is able, please have them safely exit out of the car in the mornings versus waiting on a teacher- this moves the line along more quickly. If they need help, please just signal a staff member. 4- Car Riders in the PM- If you are a Primary Only parent, please put on your left signal and wait for a staff member (usually Mrs. Reynolds or Mrs. Burgin) to wave you out of line. If we do not make eye contact with you or wave you down, DO NOT come forward- you may block the line. We wave primary parents out as quickly as we can as an effort to move the line through more quickly. We appreciate you following the traffic pattern and guidelines, as well as your patience until everyone learns the pattern. 5- 1st and 2nd parents- your child will need to use the car line/ride the bus going forward. Our staff will help them get to class. 6- On August 19th, when all Kinders come to school, they will need to walk in on their own as well. We have extra staff available to help them get to class. We are looking forward to another great day tomorrow!!
