An electrifying end to a fabulous week! Fourth graders have enjoyed working on their projects from the electricity unit: balloon experiment, light a light bulb and create own circuit at home to bring in.
#CubsLeadingTheWay
Cub families;
Please help us out!
Our School Board Policy 3225/7320-R states:
Parents may desire for their child(ren) to have cell phones, smart watches and other personal technology devices (“personal devices”) for safety and communication reasons during and after school. However, these devices can be disruptive to the educational environment. All personal devices must be turned off and stored during instructional time.
Should you need to contact your child during the school day, please call the school, we will be happy to help!

We are having wonderful fellowship with a great turn out at All Pro Dads this morning! Our next meeting is February 21st, we would love to have your children and any loved one come!!

We will operate on a two hour delay.
Buses will run two hours later than normal.
The car rider line will start at 9:20.
We look forward to seeing everyone in the morning!

Parents of students on bus 132:
Due to a change in the bus route, students may be getting off at a different time.
Congratulations to our 2nd and 3rd graders who earned the Q2 Cub Award.

Good afternoon Cub Families! With the future weather outlook, please message your child's teacher to ensure that they are aware of the way your child will go home in the event of an early dismissal. If your child attends the YMCA; the YMCA after school program will also be closed if the school dismisses early.
Congratulations to the students that qualified for the quarter 2 cub award. We had fun celebrating. Everyone starts fresh for Q3!

Happy Holidays to all of our families. We will see you again after the new year!

Our school is partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive through the Future Blood Donor Program. Norris Childers Elementary is committed to strengthening our community and helping meet hospital and patient needs through blood donations. This blood drive is our way of giving staff, colleagues and neighbors an opportunity to help save lives.
Blood is a perishable product that can only come from volunteer blood donors. With someone in the U.S. needing blood every two seconds, blood products must be constantly replenished, according to the Red Cross.
According to the Red Cross, donors with all blood types are needed, especially those with types O negative, A negative and B negative.
