Runners will enjoy great perks including a race shirt, Novant giveaway, summer-themed goodies, and water surprises. Enjoy slushies from Sunset Slush of Lincolnton. Awards will be given across multiple categories, including age groups, strollers, and the best summer fun costume.

Proceeds support UWLC's community fund, helping provide tutors for low-income neighborhoods, emergency assistance for families in crisis, and other vital outreach programs.

The Lincoln County YMCA will be hosting a Best Friend Fest on May 16 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

It's an incredible event filled with fun, connection, and community spirit—and best of all, it’s completely FREE!

Additionally, for families still exploring summer plans, the YMCA will have staff available on-site to assist with summer camp registration and provide more information about their upcoming programs.
