Please be advised that to ensure that we have accurate and up to date information on all students we will be performing a records audit.

What does this mean for you?
If in auditing your student's records we find that we are missing documentation or have outdated information, the school Data Manager will be reaching out in regards to this.

This is essential and important for the safety and academic success of all students attending Norris Childers, and these records stay with them until they graduate. Accuracy is essential.

We appreciate your help in acquiring anything we may be missing or need to update!

WORLD'S GREATEST CHOCOLATE BAR SALE!!

All students brought home a form last night to help with our chocolate bar sale! We are so excited about this opportunity for students to use leadership skills and communicate with others about raising money for our school.

If you signed and returned the paper, your child will come home on September 1oth with a box of chocolate bars! Each bar costs $2. Once all bars are sold, please return the money to the school, and if you would like another box to sell, we will send one home!

Students will win prizes for each box sold!
1 box: Coops squishy
3 boxes: Student gets to spin the prize wheel for the box
5 boxes: Students get to go into the Cash Vault with $100 and catch as much money as they can in 30 seconds!

1st Place-(Sells the most boxes): Students get $100!!!!!!!
2nd Place: $50 prize
3rd Place: $25 prize

Please make sure your child is accompanied by an adult when selling the bars and is safe. We appreciate your help in raising money for Childers!

Sign up today for NextGen United's Summer Sun & Racing Fun 5K, happening Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 8:00 AM at Betty G Ross Park in Lincolnton! Proudly presented by Novant Health.

Runners will enjoy great perks including a race shirt, Novant giveaway, summer-themed goodies, and water surprises. Enjoy slushies from Sunset Slush of Lincolnton. Awards will be given across multiple categories, including age groups, strollers, and the best summer fun costume.

Proceeds support UWLC's community fund, helping provide tutors for low-income neighborhoods, emergency assistance for families in crisis, and other vital outreach programs.
