Get Ready for the Gold Rush Fun Run!

The Childers PTO is thrilled to host our annual Fun Run on Friday, March 20, 2026. This year’s theme is the Gold Rush, and we’re planning a full day of Irish-themed excitement for every student!

What to Expect:

Students will rotate through four high-energy stations designed for maximum fun:

The Run Track: Zoom around the course and show off your speed!
Inflatable Slide: Scale the heights and race down to the bottom.
Obstacle Course: A true test of skills, agility, and determination.
Snack Station: Recharge with a refreshing treat to keep the energy up.

Why We Are Raising Money:

We’re dreaming big for our outdoor space! Our goal is to expand the play area by adding new blacktop sections and basketball hoops.

This upgrade provides more room for recess and creates a versatile "outdoor classroom" where teachers can take lessons into the fresh air.

Skip the Sales: Instead of selling wrapping paper or cookie dough, we’re keeping it simple. We ask students to find sponsors to support their run!

Safety First: Please do not go door-to-door to strangers. Only ask family, friends, and people you know!

How to Sign Up:

Getting started is easy and takes just a few minutes:

For Students & Parents:
Register: Visit 99pledges.com/fund/ncfunrun2026/addme or scan the QR code on the flyer.
Share: Send your personal link to family and friends via text, email, or social media.

For Friends & Neighbors:
If you don’t have a student at the school but still want to support our mission, you can donate directly at app.99pledges.com/fund/ncfunrun2026.

Thank you for helping our students stay determined and unstoppable. Let’s make this the best Fun Run ever!

Flyer for the Gold Rush Fun Run taking place March 20, 2026. The flyer features Irish-themed graphics including green shamrocks, gold coins, a pot of gold, and a leprechaun shoe. Text reads: Its coming.. Gold Rush Fun Run. March 20, 2026. We are excited to host a full day of Irish-themed fun for our students! The event will feature four activity stations, including a fun-run track, an inflatable slide, an obstacle course, and a refreshments area. To support this event, we are asking each student to reach out to family and friends (not through door-to-door sales) to help sponsor their participation. All proceeds will go directly to our school, allowing us to invest in meaningful improvements rather than selling items through outside companies. Our fundraising goal this year is to expand our outdoor play area by adding extended concrete slabs and new basketball goals. This enhanced space will be used daily during recess and will also create opportunities for outdoor learning. Thank you for helping us inspire our students to be determined. Be inspired. Be unstoppable. Register your student at www.99pledges.com/fund/ncfunrun2026/addme or scan the code. A QR code is provided at the bottom.
