A graphic featuring a white background. On the right side is a large awareness ribbon filled with a multicolored puzzle piece pattern in blue, red, and yellow. To the left of the ribbon, the text reads: APRIL IS NATIONAL AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH. The word AUTISM is written in a large, bold, black sans-serif font.

Every April, people all over the world celebrate the autism community.

The 2026 Theme: "Every Life Has Value." This year, the goal is to show that being autistic is not something that needs to be "fixed." Instead, we celebrate neurodiversity. This is a big word that means everyone’s brain is wired differently, and those differences make the world a better and more interesting place!

April 2: This is World Autism Acceptance Day. It is a special day to stand up for kindness and fairness.
