Good evening, Iron Station families!

We have a busy and exciting week ahead! Here are a few important reminders.

Tomorrow, Monday, October 19th, our fourth graders will travel to East Lincoln Middle School for Career on Wheels. Students will have the opportunity to learn about different trades and careers. Please make sure your Engineer dresses for the weather.

Also on Monday, report cards will come home with students. We are halfway through the first semester, making this a great time to talk with your Engineer about their goals and the progress they are making. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.

On Tuesday, October 20th, our third and fourth graders will take their first quarter math check-in. Please help your Engineer do their best by getting a good night's rest and arriving at school on time.

Wednesday, October 21st, is Unity Day! This is a day to come together and promote kindness, acceptance, and inclusion as we stand united against bullying. Everyone is encouraged to wear orange on this day!

We are also excited to share that, as of Friday, our PTO has collected over 9,000 dollars for our Walk-a-Thon! What an amazing accomplishment! To celebrate, this Friday, October 23rd, will be Superhero Day! Students are invited to wear their favorite superhero apparel as we participate in our Walk-a-Thon that morning. Donations can still be turned in, but will no longer count toward individual student rewards. Thank you for your incredible support!

Are you looking for ways to get more involved at Iron Station? Be on the lookout for a volunteer flyer coming home tomorrow. Simply fill it out and return it to let us know how you would like to help. We would love to have you involved!

And finally, looking ahead, Red Ribbon Week will be October 26th through the 30th! We will celebrate making healthy choices and living drug-free. Be on the lookout this week for information about our fun dress-up days!

Thank you, families, for your continued support and partnership in keeping our Engineers On Track for Success!

Have a wonderful evening, and we look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!
