Good evening, Iron Station families!
We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Here are a few important reminders and upcoming events:
Parent-Teacher Conferences
There will be no school for students on Tuesday, September 22nd, as this is our parent-teacher conference day. If you still need to schedule a conference or have questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
Girl Scouts
On Wednesday, September 23rd, the Girl Scouts will visit Iron Station and share a brief presentation with our girls about their program. They will return on Thursday, September 24th, from 6:00–7:00 PM in our cafeteria for families who would like to learn more or sign up.
PTO Walk-a-Thon
Be on the lookout for information coming soon from our PTO about this year’s Walk-a-Thon! With a superhero theme, it’s going to be a SUPER way to have fun and support our school!
Looking Ahead: Book Fair & Family Night
Our Book Fair will run October 5th–9th in our library. We also hope you’ll join us on Tuesday, October 6th, from 4:30–6:00 PM for our Fall Family Night — Pumpkins, Pages, and Pajamas! Come enjoy a fun evening celebrating reading together as a school family.
Leader in Me: Habit 1 — Be Proactive
Throughout September, our Leader in Me focus has been Habit 1: Be Proactive. Our Engineers are learning to take responsibility for their choices, focus on what they can control, and choose how they respond. Ask your child how they can show Habit 1 at school and at home this week!
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Have a wonderful week, and let’s keep our Engineers On Track for Success!
