Good evening, Iron Station families!

Thank you to everyone who joined us over the past two weeks for our grade-level family nights! It was a great opportunity to learn more about your child’s grade level and how you can support their learning. We know it takes a strong home-school partnership to keep our Engineers On Track for Success!

No School Monday, September 7th

There is no school tomorrow in observance of the Labor Day holiday. We hope everyone enjoys the long weekend! Students return Tuesday.

September Attendance Challenge — Be Here, You Matter!

September is Attendance Awareness Month, and we are kicking off our schoolwide On Track for Success Attendance Challenge on Tuesday!

Our goal is for our school to reach 95% or higher attendance at least four days each week. We encourage all of our Engineers, when they are healthy, to be at school, on time, and ready to learn. Every day provides another opportunity to learn, connect, and grow—and every day counts!

If we meet our challenge, our Engineers will celebrate with an On Track Celebration featuring extra recess and a freezer pop!

Wednesday Lunch Visitors

Beginning this week, our lunch schedule will shift slightly for some grade levels on Wednesdays only to make room for student clubs. We kindly ask families who would like to eat lunch with their student to choose another day of the week to visit.

All Pro Dads Day — Friday, September 11th

Our first All Pro Dads Day begins at 7:20 a.m. in the cafeteria. Dads, brothers, uncles, grandfathers, and other special family members are welcome to join us for this special morning!

Patriot Day — Friday, September 11th

We invite students and staff to wear red, white, and blue as we observe Patriot Day and show our remembrance and pride.
