Good evening, Engineer families!
We had a great start to the school year, and we are excited for our first full week together! We are especially excited to welcome all of our Kindergarten Engineers tomorrow, Monday, August 17th!
As we begin the week, we ask everyone to please be patient with morning car rider drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Our Kindergarten Engineers are learning how to quickly and safely exit their cars in the morning and load up in the afternoon, so our lines may take a little longer as everyone gets into the routine.
For our bus riders, buses will also have all of their riders this week. Because of this, your child’s bus arrival and drop-off times may vary slightly from last week. Thank you for your patience as our drivers get everyone settled into their routes.
A big thank you to everyone who has been on time this week! We are off to a great start! Remember, our tardy bell rings at 7:45 AM. If you arrive after the front doors have closed at 7:45, please walk your student into the office to sign them in.
One more car rider reminder: If your child needs assistance getting buckled into a car seat or booster seat, please allow them to load into the car while you are in the car rider line, and then pull into one of our visitor parking spaces to get them safely buckled. This helps us keep our car rider line moving safely and efficiently for everyone.
Spring Musical Auditions
Auditions for this year’s spring musical, Madagascar Kids, will be held Thursday, August 20th, right after school until 4:00 PM. If your third, fourth, or fifth grader plans to audition, please make sure their audition form is turned in to Ms. McGuire by Wednesday, August 19th. If you need an audition packet, please see Ms. McGuire or visit the Spring Musical tab on our school website.
