A long line of approximately thirty teenagers in casual clothing—t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers—stands against the green and white cinderblock wall of a high school gymnasium. The students are positioned along the edge of a polished wooden basketball court, some leaning against black protective wall padding under an American flag and athletic posters. On the far right, one student walks toward the center of the court, while the rest of the group remains lined up as if waiting for an event or instruction to begin.
In a high school gymnasium, an adult woman stands behind a table draped in black, leading an induction or ceremony while reading from a paper. To her left, three teenage girls stand together holding scripts or programs, while another girl stands to the right of the table. The setting is decorated with black and gold balloon clusters and small white candles on the table, with a "Falcon Pride" banner and a falcon mascot logo visible on the green and white walls in the background.

She is joined by several teenagers, some of whom are holding scripts or receiving papers, as others wait in a line along the green and white walls in the background. In a high school gymnasium, students participate in a formal induction ceremony at a table draped in black and decorated with gold and black balloons and white candles. Adult facilitators and student leaders stand at the table to read from documents and distribute certificates or programs to a line of teenagers dressed in a mix of casual and semi-formal attire. The background features green and white walls adorned with "Falcon Pride" banners, a falcon mascot logo, and athletic posters, capturing the school spirit of the event.
Four teenage girls pose together for a photo behind the induction table, which holds certificates, candles, and a gavel. Behind them, the gym wall prominently features the "Home of the Falcons" logo and school mascot.
ELMS challenged students to complete a Reading Bingo Board during this nine weeks. Students were asked to read four to five books while having the freedom to choose the types of books they wanted to explore. As the challenge comes to an end, completed Bingo boards are pouring in from excited readers. Students who finished the challenge received a chocolate bar and the satisfaction of accomplishing their reading goal. Go Falcons!

Two young girls stand smiling in front of a classroom "READING CHALLENGE" bulletin board, each holding a Hershey’s chocolate bar. The girl on the left wears a black My Chemical Romance sweater featuring a skeletal figure, while the girl on the right wears a tan "DAYDREAMER" hoodie and holds up a hand-drawn poster for the book Ellie’s Story by W. Bruce Cameron. The background is filled with student book reviews, including posters for Rain Reign and Winterkill, pinned to a blue textured board with a scalloped white border.
Two young boys stand proudly in front of a classroom "READING CHALLENGE" bulletin board, each holding a Hershey’s chocolate bar and a completed "Winter Reading Challenge BINGO" sheet. The boy on the left wears a bright blue t-shirt and star-patterned shorts, while the boy on the right wears a grey Nike hoodie and black sweatpants. The background board is decorated with colorful block letters and various student-led book reviews and posters, including one for the book Rain Reign.
Three boys pose together in front of the same "READING CHALLENGE" bulletin board, displaying their completed "Winter Reading Challenge BINGO" sheets and chocolate bar prizes. The boy on the left wears a black Nike t-shirt and patterned shorts, the center boy wears a grey Adidas t-shirt and glasses, and the boy on the right wears a plain grey t-shirt and black shorts. Support Kiwanis: Our Lucky 50/50 Raffle is open and will close March 16th at noon. We will draw on March 17 at 1230. Attached is a link and a QR code. I was hoping that you would buy at least 1 ticket or multiple tickets for this great fundraiser! The money goes to buy shoes for LCS students who are in need and the bicycles we buy during Christmas. It also helps with all the Terrific Kids supplies.
