East Lincoln On Stage proudly invites the community to celebrate the season as the MainStage production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas opens this week in the East Lincoln Black Box Theater. Performances will be held December 11-13, and 18-20 at 7 PM, with matinee showings on December 14 and 20 at 2 PM.
Featuring beloved classics such as “Snow,” “Blue Skies,” and the iconic “White Christmas,” this heartwarming musical follows two showbiz partners as they team up with a pair of talented sisters to save a picturesque Vermont inn. With its nostalgic charm, lively dance numbers, and unforgettable music, White Christmas is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.
Holiday Prelude Pre-Show Experience
Patrons are encouraged to arrive early for Holiday Prelude, a special pre-show event offered one hour before each performance. Guests can enjoy coffee, cider, and hot chocolate, along with seasonal treats and live holiday piano music. A cozy lounge atmosphere provides the perfect setting to relax, mingle, and soak in the festive spirit before taking your seat.
A Community Celebration
The excitement surrounding this year’s production has been extraordinary. The wider East Lincoln community has lent invaluable support—from set construction to props, costumes, and countless behind-the-scenes contributions. This collaboration reflects East Lincoln On Stage’s ongoing mission to develop the Black Box Theater into a true community hub for the performing arts.
As director and students continue to put finishing touches on the show, one thing is clear: White Christmas is already bringing people together in the very spirit the musical celebrates.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to this exciting holiday event,” the production team shared. “The enthusiasm from our community shows that we are, indeed, moving in the right direction.”
