East Lincoln High School concluded its annual canned food drive on November 21 after nearly three weeks of generosity and teamwork. From November 3–21, students, staff, and families worked together to collect 1,570 food items, making a meaningful impact on our community heading into the holiday season.
This year’s donations were shared among three important local organizations:
Sunrise Resource Center in Lincolnton
The ELHS Food Pantry, supporting our own students and families
East Lincoln Christian Ministry here in Denver
Their combined efforts will help support hundreds of families across the area.
A special thank-you goes to Mrs. Possert, who allowed several of her students to help with collection and packing efforts last Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Their hard work ensured donations were organized and delivered efficiently.
Congratulations to Mr. Mason’s homeroom, which led all classes with an impressive 162 donated items. The senior class also set a strong example, contributing 994 items—the most of any grade level.
Thank you to every student, staff member, and family who donated. Your kindness continues to make East Lincoln High School a place where generosity thrives and community support shines.
