Mustangs Capture the 5A Western Regional Title
East Lincoln High School is celebrating a historic victory this week as the Men’s Soccer Team has officially claimed the 5A Western Regional Championship, securing their place in the 5A State Championship Match. This remarkable achievement reflects the team’s hard work, determination, and unshakeable Mustang spirit.
In an intense and highly competitive regional run, the Mustangs demonstrated exceptional teamwork, discipline, and grit—qualities that have defined their season from start to finish. Their victory in the Western Regional final marks one of the program’s biggest accomplishments in recent years.
With this win, East Lincoln advances to the ultimate stage: the 5A State Championship, scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 AM at Guilford College. The community is encouraged to show their Mustang pride and support these outstanding athletes as they compete for the state title.
