Good afternoon CSES families, Thank you for the canned goods. We have over 4000. Monday students can wear hats for a dollar. We are almost to our goal. Santa shop flyers went home in Friday folders. Teachers will let parents know what day your child's class shops. Square1 art deadline has been extended until December 5. Monday students will bring home progress reports. Fall make-up will be Tuesday. We are so thankful for all our families. We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving l.

We will be collecting can goods until Friday. We are off to a good start. The cans will support local needs. Students and staff are allowed to wear a hat on Thursday and Friday for $1 a day. This money will be used to help a school in Western Carolina get supplies to open again.

Good evening, Tonight is the talent at 6 in the cafeteria. It cost $5 per person. Fun Run schedule is on the Facebook page If you forgot the time. Please know that the first class will start running around the time posted so arrive a little before the time. Parking: All parking will be at Catawba Springs. Do not park at the high school due to less spaces this year. Remember we will have a parent section for you to sit. Correction: All donations are due on November 4th. Mrs.Williams won the extra recess. Mrs. Frankhouser won the most students with a donation. Tonight's challenge is the leading class with totals in each grade will earn a small rewards voted on by class. Fun Run Celebration will be in November for families with a total donation of $150. Donations are due by 11/13/24

Lincoln County Public Education Foundation (LCPEF) Grant Winner Abby Goodson, Art Teacher at Catawba Springs Elementary, used grant funds to purchase four pottery wheels for her art classes. In Clay Club, students stay after school and learn the basics of pottery and clay molding. The LCPEF funds mini teaching grants that demonstrate innovative approaches to instructional practice as well as solve educational problems or meet significant challenges that have not been met effectively.
