Thank you to our PTO and volunteers for a wonderful Fun Run Celebration this afternoon. Also, thank you to everyone who came out to Mezcali this week! We appreciate your support.
We had a wonderful week and are looking forward to Red Ribbon week next week! Please be sure to check the graphic for the Spirit Days!
Friday, as part of Red Ribbon Week, we will allow students to wear Halloween costumes. NO masks, blood, gore or scary costumes will be allowed. Students will be asked to change if they wear inappropriate costumes.
ELHS is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat on October 29th from 5-7pm in the ELHS parking lot. They would love to see you there!
October 27th is Be HERE day for Lincoln County Schools! We are hoping to get to as close to 100% attendance on the 27th as possible.

🎃 First Grade Field Trip Magic! ✨
Our first graders had a gourd-geous day exploring the pumpkin patch this week! They learned all about how pumpkins grow, went on a hayride, and found their favorite pumpkins to bring home. 🚜🍂

Our Kindergarten students had an incredible field trip to the local fire station this week! They got to see the giant fire trucks up close, tour the station, learn all about fire safety, and meet the heroic firefighters who keep our community safe.
A massive thank you to our local fire department for welcoming our students, answering their big questions, and showing us what true leadership in action looks like! ❤️🚒

Our 4th graders had an absolute blast on their field trip to Careers on Wheels yesterday! Students got hands-on experience exploring different vehicles, meeting incredible community leaders, and discovering exciting career paths for their futures.
To tie into our Leader in Me journey, our 4th graders practiced Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind as they started dreaming about their future goals, and Habit 6: Synergize by learning how all of these vital community workers team up to keep our town safe and running smoothly.
A huge thank you to all the community members and volunteers who brought their vehicles and shared their time with our leaders! 💙🌟

Our Fun Run celebration for those who raised $150 is on October 23rd.
This coming week you will begin to see construction start along the property line. If you live in the Catawba Springs neighborhood, you will not be able to walk through. Please make alternate walking plans, call to be added to the bus route, or join car riders! Thank you for your patience as we ultimately improve our school!
