If your child turned in their permission slip to sell chocolate, that is coming home today! Please check bookbags! Each candy bar is $2. Again.....each candy bar is $2 and there are 40 candy bars in the box. I am really great at math....and I know that 40 times 2 is 80 dollars! And....if you haven't turned in a permission slip yet, you still have time! We want to sell a ton of candy and make money for our school! Please help us! Have a great night!

You have three convenient ways to order your student's portraits:
1) Pre-Order online through picture day. Visit www.carolinaphoto.net and click "Click Here to Order Photos" then enter your school's name as the "code."
2) Day-of payment: Send the completed flyer with cash or check payment to school to be handed to the photographer on picture day.
3) After picture day proof: Once pre-orders are delivered (approx. 2 weeks after picture day), you will receive an individual proof with an online code for ordering. There will be a shipping charge to the home.

Look for a flier (or two!) coming home today (Tues. Sept. 8 ) in your child's backpack with some helpful guidance on determining when is sick too sick for school. Our Pre-K and Kindergarten friends will also bring home a flier about building the habit of good attendance from the start of their school careers.
All our Patriots have had the opportunity to check out library books AND it's a long weekend~what a perfect opportunity to celebrate National Read A Book Day (Sept. 6)! "Every page is a chance to learn, imagine, and grow!"

September is Attendance Awareness Month. This month on our communication channels, we'll be sharing information on how vital attendance is to our Patriots' success. When students miss school, they miss valuable learning, relationships, and opportunities that help prepare them for the future.
Strong attendance habits start early. Students who are chronically absent in kindergarten are more likely to experience challenges with reading by third grade.
Building the habit of showing up today can make a difference for years to come.
