Look for a flier (or two!) coming home today (Tues. Sept. 8 ) in your child's backpack with some helpful guidance on determining when is sick too sick for school. Our Pre-K and Kindergarten friends will also bring home a flier about building the habit of good attendance from the start of their school careers.
All our Patriots have had the opportunity to check out library books AND it's a long weekend~what a perfect opportunity to celebrate National Read A Book Day (Sept. 6)! "Every page is a chance to learn, imagine, and grow!"

This accomplishment reflects the hard work of our incredible students, dedicated teachers, supportive families, and entire school community. September is Attendance Awareness Month. This month on our communication channels, we'll be sharing information on how vital attendance is to our Patriots' success. When students miss school, they miss valuable learning, relationships, and opportunities that help prepare them for the future.
Strong attendance habits start early. Students who are chronically absent in kindergarten are more likely to experience challenges with reading by third grade.
Building the habit of showing up today can make a difference for years to come.
