This Week at NLMS

Good Evening Panther Families,

This is Mrs. Dagenhart calling with information and updates for our first week back to school. I am excited to welcome our new and returning students bright and early Monday morning! Below are some helpful hints to make your first few days back to school run smoothly and successfully.

- Students may begin being dropped off as early as 7:00 am, but we routinely begin greeting students at 7:20 am. Once inside the "drop zone" in front of the school please begin unloading cars. We can unload approximately 8 cars in front of the school. Please have materials ready and be prepared to get out of the car quickly.

-Our tardy bell rings at 7:45 am each day. During the first week of school please plan accordingly in anticipation of a longer than usual car rider line.

-Students riding a bus are reminded to be at their stop at least 15 minutes early in the morning for at least the first couple of weeks while routes are formally established. Please be flexible with pick up and drop off times until the bus driver is able to establish a routine.

-We will have staff members ready to help any student who doesn't know their home base or where they are going in the morning. Thank you for understanding that parents will not be allowed down the hallways in the morning.

-Students can pay their student fee of $12 to purchase their student planner and our school-wide  One Book, One School book "Restart".

-Be sure to review the NLMS student handbook, letters, packets and papers sent home on the first day.
