SRL Family Message 11/06/22

Good evening S. Ray Lowder families! This is Kelly Saine with important information for the week ahead. On Monday, we will kick off our holiday food drive for Christian Ministries. The need this year is greater than ever, so we hope you will all consider participating. Donations of nonperishable foods, paper products, and basic hygiene items would be greatly appreciated. You may also make a cash or check donation with checks being made payable to Christian Ministries of Lincoln County. As usual, we will have prizes for the classes with the most donations to encourage participation. Tuesday is a teacher workday with no school for students as many schools are used as polling sites. We hope you  will all exercise your right to vote and discuss the importance of voting as a responsible citizen with your children. On Thursday, we will celebrate the 50th day of school with PTO providing coke floats for our students. All students and staff are invited to dress in 50s attire as well. There will be no school on Friday in honor of Veterans Day as we take time out to acknowledge the service of our veterans. Also, please continue to remind students to practice good hygiene to help combat the variety of bugs making their way through building. Please keep sick students at home until they are symptom free. This includes fever, throwing up, and diarrhea. Thank you for doing your part to keep our staff and students healthy and have a great evening.
