Welcome to the Lincoln County Schools' page on Anti-Bullying. Here you can find the District's official policy on student bullying and some useful resources for preventing bullying and reporting it when it occurs.
Definition of Bullying:
Bullying is a repeated aggressive behavior that involves an imbalance of power, used to intentionally cause physical or emotional harm.
This definition includes three important components:
1. Bullying is aggressive behavior that involves unwanted, negative actions.
2. Bullying involves a pattern of behavior repeated over time.
3. Bullying involves an imbalance of power or strength.

Lincoln County Schools will promote an inclusive, safe environment in which all students and staff are empowered to treat each other with dignity and respect.
Protocols

Staff members should follow the protocol listed below when students report bullying.
1. Establish a safe environment and stop the behavior.
2. Gather information and analyze the situation.
3. Report to administration and/or counselor.
4. Follow-up with all stakeholders.
