Mrs. Rhonda Bailey
I am one of the Exceptional Children's Functional Skills Teacher here at LMS. I believe everyone can learn, we just all learn differently. I am looking forward to another great year. I am anxious to meet my new students and see my returning students.
This is my 30th year teaching and my 7th year at Lincolnton Middle School. I graduated from Radford University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science Degree, in Elementary Education and Special Education. I taught 2 years at West Carteret High School in Moorehead City, NC then did 21 years at an Elementary school in Gaston County. I received my National Board Certification in 2003 in the area of Exceptional Needs Specialist/Early Childhood through Adult. I have been married to my husband, Richard, for 29 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Allison and Michelle, who both attend Lincoln County Schools. My family and I attend Bess Chapel United Methodist Church.
Spending time with family and friends are my favorite things to do. I like to Scrapbook, cook, and collect coke items.
I have an amazing assistant Adriane Mathis. She has been with me for four years. We work well together and I think we make a great team.
