Raised in the Hudson Valley of New York.  

Served in the US Army in Germany from 1986-1989.

Received a Bachelor's Degree in Education from SUNY Oswego.

Taught in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1994-1997.

Began teaching in Lincoln County in 1997.

Received a Master's Degree from Appalachian State in Instructional Technology.

Began coaching football at ELMS in 2006.
