Teaching is absolute passion of mine! I am so excited to work with you and your Child! It's going to be a year full of fun, learning and lots of adventures and I cant wait to see what the year has in store for us! I thought you might like to know a little bit about me.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Matt. We have two sons (ages seven and five) and a daughter (three). They takes up alot of my free time, but hobbies that I enjoy are cooking, sewing, farming, hiking, skiing, and reading. 

I have lived in Lincolnton most of my life. I went to Appalachian state University with a degree in Special Education. Then I continued my education at Liberty University with a degree in as a Reading Specialist. 

This is my tenth year teaching Special education at Childers Elementary. I absolutely love teaching Special Education! It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students  I will attempt to teach reading, writing and mathematics and to help them to be life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to a great year together!
