Hello!

My name is Elaina Hovis and this is my 21st year teaching at Battleground Elementary.  I have spent 20 of those years in Kindergarten, which I love!  I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6.  In 2010 I completed my Masters in Elementary Education from Gardner Webb University.  I love my job and am so excited about a fun year in Kindergarten!

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband Chris and my two children, Gavin and Madelyn.  I also have three cats named Bella, Milo, and Zoe.  I love my family and my animals very much!!
