WELCOME!

I have been teaching since 2004 (2004-2017 Business Education and also Marketing Education, 2017-present Adobe courses).  Prior to teaching, I was a computer programmer.  I graduated from West Lincoln High School, Gaston College (Associate in Arts), and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (BA in Computer Science).  I also attended Appalachian State University to obtain my teaching certificate in Business Education.  I'm also certified to teach Marketing and Digital Media.  I enjoy teaching high school students and I especially enjoy teaching the Adobe Academy classes here at the Lincoln County School of Technology. 

I have a wonderful husband and three great children.  I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family and pets.  

Office Hours:             Monday - Friday (2:00-3:00)   

Licensed to teach:   Digital Media (6-12), Business and Information Technology Education (6-12), Marketing Education (6-12)

Classroom Supplies: Inexpensive Headset (not bluetooth)

Transportation:         Bus transportation provided

Parking Pass Form:  Parking Pass Form (click here and complete) $5 for students who plan to drive to and from LCST

I'm happy to be teaching Adobe Academy courses.  You will find all course content and information on Canvas.  For communication, I use Canvas, email, and the Remind app.  Check these daily.  Students, please join my Remind for your Adobe class.  You will find the Remind information in your syllabus (hardcopy and on Canvas).  Parents may also join.  Even more important students is your presence in my class every day.  I look forward to being your teacher.
