• Norris S. Childers Elementary opened in 2005 and we have celebrated our Ten Year Anniversary.  The school was named after the late Norris. S. Childers, an educator who served Lincoln County for many years as an administrator.  The mural in the school foyer represents the coming together of students from three different elementary schools in Western Lincoln County to form the Childers “Cubs”.
