Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Mrs. Hayes. I am so excited about being a fifth grade teacher this year here at Union Elementary. This is my 15th year teaching. I am from Cherryville, NC. I graduated from Wingate University with a degree in Elementary Education. I went to the University of North Carolina Charlotte for a graduate endorsement in Mathematics.  I love teaching Math and Science. My husband and I love traveling and exploring new places. We have a big family who we love to spend time with. I enjoy spending my free time reading, cooking, and baking.
