Hello All! My name is Brandy Gates. I have worked for Lincoln County Schools for 8 years. For 6 of those years, I worked in an Exceptional Children's classroom here at Love memorial. The other 2 years I worked at Iron Station Elementary as a first grade teacher's assistant. I graduated from Catawba Valley Community College in 2020 with an Associates of Art degree. From there I continued my education at Gardner-Webb University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2022. After Graduation I came back home here to Love and began teaching Kindergarten. This year will look very different for me and it will be my first year teaching 5th grade. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. In my spare time outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family.I have a niece Raygan who is a freshman in highschool, a nephew Kolton who is in 8th grade and a nephew Kane who is a year and a 1/2 old. I'm looking forward to having a great year and getting to work with you and your child.
