I am so excited to begin this school year! This will be my 6th year here at Love Memorial in the Developmental Day EC Pre-K classroom, but my first as a licensed teacher. I moved with my students when this program was brought from A Place to Grow Developmental Day Center in 2018 as an assistant and knew I needed to go back to school to follow my passion for teaching.

I graduated from Western Carolina University with my Bachelor of Science in Birth-Kindergarten Education. I am passionate about supporting students' communication skills through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) as well as developing emotional regulation skills. 

I live in Lincolnton with my husband David and when we're not working we enjoy volunteering in community theatre and playing board games with our friends!
