LHS Welcomes Coach Auman to the Pack!

Auman comes to Lincolnton after spending one season at NCAA D1 Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC, where he helped the Eagles to a Big South Conference Tournament birth while working with All-Conference Honorable Mention forward, Paige Powell.

Before Rock Hill from Spartanburg Methodist College. During his time with SMC, the Pioneers had a 17-7 record and a berth in the NJCAA District Championship.

Prior to his time in Spartanburg, Auman served as an assistant coach at Belmont Abbey, where he helped the team to a 24-3 record and a berth in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. He worked with film, ran skill development for the wings, and prepared scouting reports. He also served as the head junior varsity basketball coach, running a complete program including recruitment, scheduling, practices, conditioning, transportation, and recruitment.

Throughout his career, he has worked at USC Upstate, Columbus State, Combine Academy, Johnson and Wales (Charlotte), and Elms College in assistant coaching roles, as well as, graduating from UNC Asheville with a bachelor's degree in mass communications in 2011.
