Hi! I'm Michael Ryan. This is my 20th year at St. James Elementary.  I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. I grew up in a small town right outside the city of Buffalo, NY. I came down to NC in 1999 to run track and cross-country for UNC Charlotte. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a B.A. in Elementary Education K-6 in 2002 and a B.A. in Earth Science in 2003. For the past 16 years, I have worked part-time at Dick's Sporting Goods. Also, in my spare time I like to run and go hiking.
