I’m excited to be working with students and families with Lincoln County Schools as a School Social Worker! This will be my 7th year with Lincoln County Schools. I graduated from Appalachian State University, (Go Mountaineers!) in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. Prior to working at Lincoln County Schools, I worked at Lincoln County Department of Social Services in different areas of child welfare. My goal as your School Social Worker is to promote educational success by helping families and students first meet their physical, emotional, and mental health needs. I will help advocate for families and students to strengthen both home and school environments. I am married and have two children. We enjoy spending time outdoors and being together as a family!
