Welcome to Biology! My name is Mrs. Colleen Heise and I teach Biology, Honors Biology and AP Biology. This is my second year teaching at North Lincoln High School. Prior to teaching at NLHS I taught Biology and Anatomy and Physiology at Community Colleges in North Carolina. I have 2 teenagers, one that is a graduate of NLHS and one that is currently a student. I am a Vice President of the NLHS Band Boosters and love working with Mr. Minick and the band kids when I am not teaching Biology. My husband is an ichthyologist (a Biologist who studies fish) and our family is often involved with outdoor activities. In my spare time I enjoy camping and hiking with my family, gardening, and reading.
