Hi, I am Dana Pruitt.  Welcome to 7th Grade ELA!  I'm so excited to be at NLMS this year!  I am a native of Lincoln County, and have lived here a majority of my life.  I am a product of Lincoln County Schools.  I can assure you that it is a caring community devoted to supporting learning, and each other.  I am a widow with nine-year-old, fraternal twin girls.  For fun I enjoy; Raindrops on Roses and whiskers on kittens, spending time with my family, swimming, travel, musicals, transporting my children to their activities, and being informed about current events.

I want my ELA students to enjoy coming to class.  ELA has always been my favorite subject, so I hope to inspire a passion for reading and grammar if it isn't already there.  I want students to feel comfortable asking questions in my class.  Every student learns differently, and at their own pace.  I look forward to a successful year full of learning!
