I grew up in Lincoln County and graduated from North Lincoln High School in 2008. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2012. I later returned in 2016 and received my Master's in Reading Education. In spring 2022, I received my Master's of Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

I am beginning year 10 in education and will teach Earth & Environmental Science and NC Wildlife both in the fall and spring. I am excited to return to my alma mater and work with your child this school year!

I have been married to my college sweetheart, Joe, for nine years, have one pup named Max, and expecting our first child in February 2023. I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, going to the beach, and being outdoors outside of school.
