WELCOME! 

I'm Ms. B. This year will be my 2nd year teaching and I am so excited to be back at St. James where I completed my student teaching in Kindergarten. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2022. Shortly after, I accepted a Second grade position at GE Massey Elementary, where I had an incredible first year. Now, I am beyond thrilled to be back at SJES teaching First grade. 

ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Buffalo, New York and moved to North Carolina when I was seven years old. I was raised in Lincoln County and love being able to teach in the county I grew up in. My fiance, Lucas and I are high school sweethearts going on 14 years together. We have two fur babies, Sibley and Ry. I love doing anything outdoors. The sun makes me happy. I don't think that I could ever choose between the beach and the mountains. They are both my home away from home. As long as I can remember, teaching has always been my dream job. I've always said that I wanted to teach K-2nd grade and now I get to experience that with you all. I'm eager for this school year to begin and I can't wait to get to know you all and have a great year together!
