Hi! My name is Shannon Black and I will be your child's teacher! This is my 2nd year teaching and I am so happy to be here at Iron Station. I grew up in Denver and I am a product of Lincoln County Schools. I graduated from ELHS in 2017. I attended Lenoir-Rhyne University where I graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. In February, I moved to Lincolnton with my husband, Derek, and our two dogs, Tucker(4) and Sadie(2). My goal is to build strong connections with my students and create a structured and fun atmosphere where my students can excel. When I am not teaching, I enjoy shopping, reading, and spending time with family and friends!
